Stress is an inevitable part of life, but many people aren’t sure how it’s impacting their mental health. Stress itself isn’t always harmful, but the way you handle it can greatly influence your overall sense of well-being. Paying attention to how you deal with stress can help you better manage it and avoid chronic issues like anxiety and depression that are rooted in your inability to cope with stressful situations. Use these tips to help keep your stress levels under control and your mental health on track.

What is Stress?

Stress is the body’s natural response to any type of demand. When you perceive a threat, your nervous system responds by releasing stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol. These hormones increase your heart rate and blood pressure and give you a burst of energy. This fight-or-flight response is designed to help you deal with a dangerous situation. But if this response is triggered too often, it can take a toll on your mental and physical health.

5 Signs you’re under too much stress:

1. You’re constantly on edge.

2. You can’t focus or concentrate.

3. You feel hopeless or helpless.

4. You’re not eating or sleeping well.

5. You’re abusing alcohol

The effects of stress are felt in every aspect of your life, including your relationships and work performance. Stress can also lead to serious illnesses like heart disease, diabetes, depression, stroke, high blood pressure, or even more life threatening complications.

We’ve all been there: you feel like a stress ball and can’t stop the anxiety from getting in the way of your life.

Chances are, you have a lot of stressors in your life—some big and some small. Maybe it’s work, or school, or family responsibilities—whatever it is, I got some advice for you on how to deal with it. Trying to manage stress can be frustrating. Writing them down and creating a solution can be helpful.

First things first: take a deep breath! Our bodies can get so used to responding to stress that we forget how to relax. So take a few minutes right now and close your eyes, then breathe deeply and slowly into your belly for five seconds. Repeat this three times if necessary.

Now that you’ve relaxed your body a bit, try thinking about what’s causing the stress in the first place. Are there any solutions? Can you change something? Is there something else going on that has nothing to do with what’s causing the stress? If so, how can you manage those feelings so they don’t get in the way of dealing with whatever is causing it?

If none of these ideas help or if things are just too overwhelming at this point, consider calling someone who can help—your doctor or therapist would be ideal here because they have experience dealing with stressful situations.

There can be situations in our lives that we avoid to an unconscious effect. Not fully understanding or accepting the stressor can lead to deeper issues. To feel better about the stress in your life, find the problem. If changing something on your behalf is needed than do so. Trying to avoid the stressor can make matters worse over time. If the situation is more complicated take time to work through options. Ask a friend or family member for advice. If the situation is more complicated, maybe its time for professional help. You can only determine your stress level and assistance needed. Don’t feel ashamed or embarrassed to reach out for help. Services are available everywhere.

We all been there, I will deal with it later. Who hasn’t said that before? Overall its your health that suffers, mentally and physically. Never is it to soon to fix a problem. But we all just don’t have the time to deal with it. Make time to make you priority. You matter! You deserve to be happy! Your well-being is living a stress free life! Stress is life, reducing stress is the a better way of life.

⏰Sleeping With The Mental Mess

Sleep Through It

Your first thought is, “Oh my, I am not alone.” And then you think, “Well of course I am not alone—there are billions of us!” Just to crawl back in bed, grab the pillow. Ah! To be in that comfy spot, for as long as you want. Its true that we must sleep for the body to heal. Then thoughts start to bring the mental mess, just to sleep would stop those creepers. .You can feel yourself trumbling into a pit of self-doubt and despair. But then you remember that nobody knows what the right way of being is, so it doesn’t make sense to judge your particular version or anyone else’s. We are all just trying our best and this moment too shall pass.

You have spent many hours trying to figure out what makes life worth living—but now here you are with no answers at all except for the most basic ones: food, sleep and love (and varying amounts thereof). As we try to get through the crazy in the world, we forget about the moment. Glad to be present and focused. Ignoring all the needs and wants, leaving us confused.

Here are ideas to help clear the mess;

Perfection is your enemy.

As an artistic type, you are probably a perfectionist. You will also likely be very hard on yourself, always striving for the best outcome and beating yourself up when it doesn’t happen.

That’s all great, but sometimes in order to get something done or make something happen (like stepping out of your comfort zone), we have to stop being so hard on ourselves and realize that our best is good enough. Take a calm approach instead of getting defeating. Be patient to get things done.

We must learn how to accept imperfection as part of our creative process—and remember that there are no right answers! We are all unique individuals who look at the world in different ways; therefore nothing will ever fit exactly as it should or be perfect according to our own standards. Be patient with your achievements, as its only our own standards for the final results.. If you give your best then know its good enough.

Nothing can be solved in a single day.

if we learn anything it’s you can’t expect to fix everything in a given day. It takes time to get through challenges. Sometimes it can be best to make a plan of action. It can be difficult to solve a challenge without finding a solution. Seeing how you will solve the problem in writing; can help visualize needs to a solution.

One of the most important things I’ve learned is to not beat myself up over something, if I don’t succeed at something once trying. Each challenge helps us to learn what works and what doesn’t work. Its okay if you don”t get it straight away.

This is because problems take time to solve, and you can’t change everything in a day (or even a week). It’s also important to have a routine and stick to it as much as possible. Everyone has good days and bad days, so it’s best to get used to this fact and learn how to deal with them.

Everyone’s just as lost as you.

We are all dealing with personal challenges. How we handle challenges is our special task that we learn overtime, our own way.

If you can’t ask for help ask for advice. Given in today’s society thevstruggles are real as ever. Its a messy world and so much to deal with, its easy to want to sleep through it. Sadly it just doesn’t pass over night. You wake up to start the mental mess all over. The problem isn’t still there as we left it.

It’s okay to not be okay

There are no shoulds or musts anymore.. Its a world where we learn to solve problems our way. Most importantly when we aren’t okay, its okay to create a plan. Awareness is what helps us when we aren’t okay. Just being aware can give us options. These option are what feels right or wrong. Knowingly, if you need advice resources are available. If you need to talk those people exist. Its what gets your needs meet.

You can do what you want. You don’t need to follow a certian way and some decisions in life don’t have to be life-changing. No one should tell you otherwise, unless you feel unable to make your own choices or decisions.

You always have choices—and that includes the choice not to make a choice. You can decide not to decide for as long as it makes sense for you, and that decision won’t hurt anyone or anything else. In fact if decisions help then: The less pressure on yourself from external forces (including from others), can be better!

It’s okay to get help.

You can’t do this alone, and neither should you try. Talk to your friends and family, and consider seeing a professional if you need one. You’re in good company—your friends and family are more likely than not going through the same stuff as you!

Be careful what you say yes to, because it can change everything. You know what best for your own being. Just don’t let matters continue to worsen without seeking help for your own being. Prolonged mental health concerns can get worse. Take care of yourself. You are not selfish to need self care.

🗄An Army of One – Learning To Be Your Own Best friend

Stressed, tired, feeling unbalanced, weak, and unpredictable at the moment? Your not alone, we all have faced troubling, soul shaking tragedy in this lifetime. How you faced the world day in, day out – you did one day at a time. When two feet give you direction, life challenges- two feet for balance and it’s body and mind – Life. Life challenged your faith, lost hope, one foot on the edge, one foot burning in pain… to make the next move, one finger on the ledge, determined to be focused manage to pull grip – climbed up – one grip at a time. The defeat; a beat and fragile body, unsure the consequences of one more pull and grip? Extreme pain rips beyond every fiber throughout your body. Sweat rolls off your eyebrow, yet you can’t do anything about it, unless you choose to fall.. Life’s ledge and edges aren’t designed with great effort. Life edges are sharp with deep rugged roads From beneath the breathe, a force of strength comes alive. Courage, fire, and fearless, emerged from an inner voice, “you got this”. A voice that determines the result of the next step, grip, and result to Life. That one friend who nearly everytime, will save your ass? You got it! “Your mind”!

We all go through hard times in life and face many challenges that can leave us feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and unsure of how to cope. But we don’t have to give up – with the right mindset and focus we can push through the difficult moments. Life is like a ledge or edge – it can be sharp, deep and rugged at times. We might find ourselves teetering on the edge with one foot burning in pain and uncertain of what the consequences will be if we take the next step forward. At times like this, courage and strength emerge from within as an inner voice encourages us to keep going and assures us “you got this”. This voice is often our greatest friend – it helps save our lives when everything else fails. That ‘inner friend’ is our mind! It’s crucial to tap into our mental resilience when things get tough so that we can focus on the solution rather than the problem and make it through difficult moments unscathed. Though life may seem unpredictable, uncertain and challenging at times, if we hold onto our mental strength and focus on the positive then we will eventually pull ourselves back up, one grip at a time.

Often we think of ourselves as singular beings – one body, one mind. But the truth is that our body and mind are deeply interconnected and rely on each other for balance and wellbeing. The relationship between the two is so important that we must fight to protect it throughout our lives. When faced with darkness in life, we may sometimes be tempted to wash away what we see in the mirror and deny our true self concept. In these moments, it’s crucial to pause and reflect: how am I feeling? What emotions am I experiencing? Do I feel balanced on an axel like an army of one, or twisted, tilted and tested? Only when we accept and understand both the body and mind are in harmony .

It’s good to sit and chill. Take a minute and embrace the moment. You can learn so much in such short time. Encourage routine, a simple smile can circulate for miles. If you catch a smile, it cycled properly, smile again it’s working.😁

Relationships or Friendships

Your mind is not just a friend. Your mind is the master to all commands. Every step of the day, every breath, and creation body and soul. Conflict within can or will take your mind to dark negative places. Your self-concept – friend has only one need, “Balance”. You must work well to compromise in life as best friends. To overcome emotional, physical, and mental challenges – become an army of one. – Body and mind – That one best friend that has strength, and energy to overcome, One mind and one body – an Army of One. Positive energy will generate healthy habits.

Of course we have outside influences of individual known as friends. The outer friends can offer happiness to life, new friends share influences to our personal space. To allow friends into our recruiting lounge, being open minded is needed. Determine the influences and requirements to establish friendship. How does each friend influence your army? Positive energy or negative energy? When energies connect the influences combine forming the friendship. Friendships require us to maintain our self concept army on a regular basis. Once the alignment pulls away, unwelcomed habits form and bad habits become normal. Influences are sought by the energy of environment and relationships.

Bitter “Truth” a separation of body and mind; is destruction waiting to happen. The one relationship you must fight for your entire journey in life – becoming an Army of One. When your eyes went dark, you washed them off,.. looking in the mirror that moment, glancing at yourself: what did you see? what did you say? What do you have to say to your self concept – best friend? What emotions are you feeling? Are you balanced on axel as an Army of One? Or twisted, tilted, and tested?

If you journal release some self-concept energy to yourself. How will you handle a situation you might be dealing with now? Write a journal entry to yourself.
