The realities of today have led to such despair and uncertainty, causing the minds and bodies of individuals to tire, their moods on an all time low. With debt and a struggling economy draining the collective’s pockets, coupled with unemployment leading to decreased money flow, many of us find ourselves spending money much more carefully. From mortgage payments and rent to medical bills and credit card debt, our mental and physical resources are strained and unable to recover as fast as money leaves our pockets. To help with budgeting and being fiscally responsible, some have proposed turning the lights out at 9 pm in order to conserve energy.

For example, using smaller wattage bulbs, choosing a low wattage microwave or even turning lights off altogether when leaving a room. It is not only an environmentally friendly practice but can be beneficial financially. Many people don’t even realize how much of a difference they can make with a few easy adjustments to their daily lives. With a conscious effort, it’s amazing to see what people can save when reducing energy consumption and shifting their outlook on daily habits. It is also beneficial to our overall wellbeing, helping to recharge and calm down, putting more focus and care on health and other activities.

After all, life can only move in a positive direction when mental and physical fatigue has been taken care of. Although our ever-changing and unpredictable world is harsh, difficult, and intimidating, small adjustments to our habits such as having lights out at 9pm are very useful and can give a slight glimpse of comfort during these tumultuous times.

This practice alone can give our mindset a routine for sleep as well as financial rewards. In short time adding this to your daily routine will follow with more savings. Lights out at 9 pm may sound early, right? Yet winding down before bed is always a plus to increase mental and physical well-being.

Until our beautiful minds meet again, be safe out there. Many blessings and much love. Remember Everyday Minds Matter -Della 💞🦋
